Dr Renatta Murakami has over 15 years of clinical experience in dermatology, gained across both Brazil and the United Kingdom within private and public healthcare settings. She began her medical career in Brazil after graduating from the Universidade Metropolitana de Santos, initially working in family medicine before specialising in dermatology.

She completed her dermatology training at the Hospital Infantil Darcy Vargas and went on to practise for over a decade in Brazil, running her own clinic alongside working within the public health system. During this time, she treated a wide range of skin conditions across diverse patient populations, developing extensive clinical expertise in both general and specialist dermatology.

In 2015, Dr Murakami relocated to London to further advance her clinical knowledge. She completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology at Queen Mary University of London and has since worked within the NHS as a Locum Consultant Dermatologist, including in community dermatology services.

Alongside her NHS work, she is the founder and Medical Director of Murakami Medical Centre in Hampstead, where she leads the clinic with a focus on preventative medicine, clinical excellence, and personalised patient care.
